Jens Pontow ist seit 2007 Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter des Fraunhofer FOKUS.

Er arbeitet in den Bereichen der Car-2-Car Communication, mobilen Diensten und Visualisierung und Aufbereitung von Informationen mit Bezug auf Geodaten.
