Bernd Schäufele received his M. Sc. degree in Software Systems Engineering from the Hasso-Plattner Institute of the University of Potsdam in 2009. Since then he is researcher with the Daimler Center for Automotive Information Technology Innovations (DCAITI) at the chair of Open Communications Systems (OKS) at the Berlin Institute of Technology (Technische Universität Berlin).
He is working in the field of Car-2-Car Communication, Cooperative Driving and Positioning Systems.
